DESCRIPTION

Recommended for dogs and cats with symptoms of chronic renal failure. RenalVet is the world's only phosphorus chelator containing active vitamin D. When administered with a meal, it helps to reduce the absorption of phosphorus in animals with chronic renal failure, which may slow down the progression of the disease. Phosphorus chelators are recommended by the International Society of Nephrology (IRIS) for animals starting in the early stages of organ failure.

INSTRUCTIONS

Dogs and cats <10 kg bw - 1 Twist off capsule daily 
Dogs >10 kg body weight - 1 Twist off capsule/10 kg body weight daily 

The Twist Off capsule guarantees high palatability and ease of administration. Give the capsule as a whole treat or squeeze the contents of the capsule (the capsule is edible) into the mouth or on the paw.

The capsule tip should be twisted off or cut, squeezed out content and mixed with food or administered directly into the mouth. Animals should always have access to fresh water.

Nutritional information: Due to the higher content of vitamin D3 compared to complete feed, RenalVet can be administered to dogs and cats in an amount of up to 2.5% of the daily ration.

INGREDIENTS

RenalVet is a preparation supporting chronic renal failure. The main component is calcium carbonate , binding phosphorus in the digestive tract. Its action is supported by the addition of chitosan , with strong absorbing properties. RenalVet also contains vitamin D , the addition of which supplements potential deficiencies in the body caused by impaired kidney function in the event of their failure.

Calcium carbonate 200 mg, chitosan 100 mg, vitamin D 0.02mg

COMPOSITION

Composition: 2.20.1 refined soybean oil Glycine max. (L.) Merr., 11.1.1 calcium carbonate, 10.3.1 crustacea meal Chionoecetes opilio (chitosan), 2.21.1 crude lecithins, 9.3.1 beeswax.
